Basketball
As a coach's son, Tony plays with a heightened sense of commitment to his coaches, his teammates and the game. He's played competitive club basketball since kindergarten and lives and breathes the game. Tony's sharp intellect and basketball experience puts him in the position of court leader for any team; a job he has taken seriously as team captain for his club and school teams.
"Tony's basketball IQ is phenomenal," says Jordan Ballard, Tony's club basketball coach. "He is an asset to any team he plays on and has an incredible ability to fire up the others on the team with his focus, heart and defensive leadership." Alec Savage, point guard of his club team says, "Tony is the player that always does the dirty work that makes all the other players look good. He is unselfish and when it comes to crunch time, Tony always gets that critical rebound or the defensive stop. He dominates the paint or the perimeter and makes the other team pay for penetrating."
